About JCP

The Jewish Curriculum Partnership (JCP) is the principal curriculum project within PaJeS.  Supporting the work of Jewish Studies and Ivrit teachers we develop curricula, produce resources, provide training, deliver in-school support and facilitate networking and best practice.

JCP works in partnership with schools and aims to;

  • Develop successful Jewish learners who are familiar with Hebrew, knowledgeable in selected classical texts and motivated to become lifelong Jewish learners
  • Develop confident individuals who are personally committed to and involved in Jewish practice, ethics and traditions and have an empathy with Jewish beliefs and values
  • Develop responsible Jewish citizens who play an active role in the Jewish and wider community and are committed to the State of Israel

JCP endeavours to achieve these aims by:

  • Developing carefully designed curricula and exciting and relevant materials
  • Offering regular training opportunities for teachers
  • Providing one-to-one support to teachers at their schools
  • building a community of teachers, ensuring that teachers have the opportunity to network and share best practice

JCP currently works in the following areas:
