Pay Scale: L6 to L10
Required for September 2017
Rosh Pinah is a Zionist Modern Orthodox Primary school that was judged to be ‘Good with Outstanding Features’ by Ofsted in June 2016.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher (SENCo) of outstanding calibre who has the drive and ambition to lead the school to even greater success.
You will join the School Leadership Team (SLT) to play a pivotal role leading, developing and supporting effective practice for pupils with SEND. The Assistant Headteacher (SENCo) will lead a team of dedicated staff in establishing and implementing a range of support and interventions for our SEND pupils across the school to ensure each learner achieves their full potential.
To be successful you need to be a qualified teacher with experience of SEND-related responsibilities with the SENCo qualification. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion, a champion for all pupils and an advocate for some of our most vulnerable pupils. You should be confident with using data to evaluate the impact of support and interventions. We would welcome applications from either the secondary or primary sector. Whether you are at the start of your SENCo career or have a wealth of experience, we are interested in talking with you about how you will help us to create outstanding inclusive provision and life-changing opportunities and outcomes for our pupils.
The school is at an exciting stage of its development. The pupil roll has expanded considerably in the past 18 months and we are currently undergoing a major refurbishment to enhance our already excellent facilities.
If you are an outstanding teacher with a strong track record as a SENCo with experience in school improvement and the right blend of leadership, management and interpersonal skills to help motivate pupils and staff, then we look forward to hearing from you.
