Head of EYFS - Menorah Foundation School

Possibility for Senior Leadership for the right candidate
MPS/UPS with Outer London Allowance and a suitable TLR
Start Date: September 2017
Contract Term: Full Time, Permanent.

We are looking to recruit an experienced classroom teacher to join our family and lead our EYFS children. Menorah Foundation School is currently growing from one to two form entry and our children want the best. Our governors are constantly investing in our resources and we have a new EYFS building. We can be found in Burnt Oak, Edgware. Ten minutes’ walk from the Northern Line station.

We welcome teachers from all faiths and cultures. As a Faith School our timetable is 50% National Curriculum and 50% Jewish Studies. Therefore, we are able to be generous with our non-contact time beyond the statutory PPA.

You will:

  • Have QTS
  • Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the national primary strategies, national curriculum and EYFS. And in-depth knowledge of current legislation and the application of such in schools
  • Take a lead role in innovative curricular development
  • An understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues in relation to EYFS
  • Love being around young children and be committed to helping them love learning
  • Has the ability to bring learning alive
  • Has a proven record of good/outstanding teaching
  • Has firm belief that all children can achieve, whatever their background
  • Has a creative approach to teaching and an ability to create a stunning learning environment
  • Be a strong communicator with children, parents and staff and a willing team player
  • Be a positive, clear role model
  • Be prepared to go the extra mile for our children and families
  • Want to track and monitor your students’ progress and use this data to personalise their learning journey
  • Be able to use data
