School Business Manager - Menorah Foundation School

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Term: Permanent. Possibility for 4 or 5 days a week.
Salary: NJC Outer London. Barnet Band 3 - Point 43-49
Salary range: £40,086 – £45,666 pro rata
Contract type:   08.15-17.00. Term time only plus 3 weeks in school holidays by arrangement

Menorah Foundation School is a friendly, vibrant, happy and successful school. The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a dynamic School Business Manager who has experience in financial planning / budgeting and implementation of financial strategies.  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work with a highly functioning team of staff and will play an important role in both the operational and strategic development of the school. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a qualification in accountancy
  • might have the Diploma in School Business Management 
  • has strong financial management skills and knowledge of finance systems
  • has the ability to support the Senior Leadership Team with strategic direction and delivering effective operational management 
  • is extremely well organised
  • might have experience of working in an educational environment and understands that the children come first
  • is able to use their own initiative and where necessary present analysis and recommendation to stakeholders
  • is self-motivated with an ability to work independently

You will be:

  • discreet, tactful and diplomatic in nature
  • confident and calm in dealing with queries from parents, staff and pupils
  • familiar with excellent office practice
