Teaching Assistants - Menorah Foundation School

Start Date: September 2017
Contract Term: Part time – mornings only
Actual salary: £9883 for a 43.5 week year (effectively working term time only)

Following a restructure of our support staff, we are looking to recruit some wonderful teaching assistants to work with our children of all ages. Our TAs work with the class teachers to provide the best possible interventions and experience for our children. The more routine tasks will be performed by a classroom assistant, so the TA can focus entirely on the children’s core subject skills and progress. Maths and English are generally taught in the mornings.

Menorah Foundation School is currently growing from one to two form entry and our children want the best staff. We can be found in Burnt Oak, Edgware. Only ten minutes’ walk from the Northern Line station. We welcome teachers from all faiths and cultures and are renowned for our friendly, happy and supportive atmosphere.

Come and join our family.

You will:

  • Love being around young children and be committed to helping them love learning
  • Be a strong communicator with children, parents and staff and a willing team player
  • Be a positive, clear role model
  • Be prepared to go the extra mile for our children and families
  • Have ability to provide a stimulating, safe and happy learning environment

We will offer you:

  • Team work, support and a welcoming atmosphere
  • Enthusiastic and friendly children (our most recent OFSTED inspection judged behaviour to be outstanding)
  • A well run school and vibrant, family orientated community

To request an application form and information pack, email or visit our website.

Applications will be considered on receipt, so interested teachers are encouraged to apply at the earliest opportunity. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.

The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
