Head of Department/ Director of Learning - Mathematics - Hasmonean High School

Salary: MPS, TLR 1B, R&R dependent on experience
Start Date: September 2017
Contract Term: Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational leader to take the helm of our outstanding Mathematics department.  You will lead a committed team of highly experienced teachers in delivering exceptional learning experiences for the students at Hasmonean High School.  If you are a respected Mathematician, have leadership and management experience and proven outstanding classroom practice, then we would like to hear from you. You are highly organised, knowledgeable in using data to support students and have the ability to communicate effectively with clarity and sensitivity to the school community.  You enjoy leading, and being part of, a team, and can be flexible and creative in your approach.

Hasmonean High School has been rated as the leading non-selective state school in the country for four years in a row (The Times, 2012 -2015). The school was also judged to be Outstanding in every category by Ofsted (November 2012). Mathematics and Further Mathematics are popular subjects at A Level.
