Teacher of Mathematics - Immanuel College

Immanuel College seeks a talented and committed teacher to join our high-achieving mathematics department. Mathematics is a popular and highly successful subject at Immanuel with GCSE results some of the best in the country. Many of our students go on to study Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-level here before moving on to pursue further studies at university. 

There is the opportunity to teach the whole age range from year 7 up to A-level (exact modules of work to be negotiated) and including Further Mathematics if desired.

You will have good mathematical skills and the ability to make the subject come alive with inspirational and interactive lessons which challenge and support all. Our classes are characterised by high levels of motivation, good behaviour and the enthusiasm to achieve. While we have a high proportion achieving the top grades in mathematics, our students do span the ability range. 

Immanuel College is housed in a grade II listed building surrounded by newer additions. All classrooms are equipped with a projector and network connections. We can offer you a competitive salary, subsidised lunches, a commitment to support continuous professional development and generous annual leave entitlement.
