Governor Training

PaJeS runs termly governor workshops where governors have a chance to network with those from different schools over supper, receive a briefing on a topical issue and then attend one of three workshops on offer. We also run induction training for new governors in both state schools and independent schools. These evenings not only benefit new governors but also serve as valuable refresher sessions for more longstanding governors.

Evening for Governors, Heads and Deputy Heads: 1st April 2019, 6.15pm
We are delighted to welcome Kate Dixon, a senior civil servant at the DfE and Director of School Quality and Safeguarding. Kate has oversight of many areas affecting Jewish schools.  She will give us an update on current government policy and then answer questions.

Following her session we will have a number of workshop options open to everyone as follows:

  • Senior Recruitment: Elliot Goldstein, Partner, MBS Group
  • Managing Complaints: Jason Marantz, Education Advisor
  • The Role of Informal Education in Schools: Shelley Marsh, Executive Director, Reshet
