Governors and trustees resuming their visits marks a welcome return to normal governance practice.  This session covered visiting with a purpose, being sensitive to current concerns, guidance for parent governors, and how to tread the difficult line between remaining strategic but building enough of an understanding of the detail to be able to govern effectively.

Safeguarding

The training for ECP is designed for Governors and Trustees who wish to undertake robust training to ensure understanding of their role and remit of safeguarding in their organisation. 

The course introduced guidance, child protection processes and procedures, roles and responsibilities of governors, the categories of abuse and an insight into inspection standards for safeguarding children.

JS and Ivrit Provision in our Primary Schools
PaJeS Education Team

This was led by members of the PaJeS Education Team. It focused on some aspects of PaJeS Jewish Studies and Ivrit services and provision in schools, and looked at how you as governors can play a supporting role.
