Governor Workshops 8 March 2022

Voluntary contributions: what can be learned from the fundraising and donor theory?
Amy Braier, Director, Pears Foundation
Shoshana Copeland, Director of Fundraising, Camp Simcha
This workshop started with a presentation on the rights and wrongs of VC requests.
Amy and Shoshana looked at the voluntary contributions through the prism of fundraising relationships. They looked at the way that charities recruit, solicit and steward donations and build relationships with their donors and consider what schools could learn from this.
