Wellbeing and Me is a framework of primary school interventions that will embed wellbeing in the curriculum and makeup of the school. This can be through all subjects such as, Jewish studies, Art, Sport and secular studies. Our first delivery will be through the weekly Parashah lessons with 'Torah, Wellbeing & Me.’
The weekly Parshiot provide an exciting opportunity for us to embed and link Wellbeing into our everyday lives and are a teaching tool and springboard for teaching positive values and life skills. Jewish studies teachers will be provided with a training video, resources and links to tie into the Wellbeing, PSHE and RSE frameworks which can be used to trigger positive wellbeing discussion in the classroom and beyond.

The five books of the Torah are a guidebook for living a full, enriching and healthy life. It is not just the stories of our forefathers and mothers, but within each book we can identify overarching wellbeing themes, interwoven within the fabric of the stories of our people, their journeys and the trials and tribulations that they face.
PaJeS have highlighted the following themes for each of the 5 books. At the beginning of the book, we will be providing a short synopsis of the wellbeing messaging, together with a video from a teacher who will give a short lesson on what well being messages can be learnt from the book.
