To Miss Lermer:

Miss Lermer is a caring and understanding teacher with the interests of her students prioritised in her work. She is approachable and supportive to those that need, and has been available during the covid period. Her friendly and kind personality has helped build up a very strong and reliable relationship with her class. As well as being her form tutor, my daughter has also been taught geography by Miss Lermer and clearly been inspired by her to succeed in hopefully achieving a good grade in a geography GCSE. My daughter is even considering taking A level in this subject.

To all Year 10 and Year 13 Teaching and Pastoral Staff:

What a lovely opportunity to say thank you to every member of the teaching, pastoral and support staff at Yavneh College. To Mr Lewis, the Senior Leaders and all of the Staff:

We are so lucky and proud that our child got a place at your wonderful school. He is so happy. He loves going to school and his biggest disappointment with Lockdown is not being able to come to school. His teachers have gone above and beyond to not only teach during Lockdown, but also check that he is ok. The school should be so proud of the warm family and community that it has created. Thank you to all of the staff for all of their hard work in providing this outstanding education and thank you to Mr Lewis and all of the Senior Leaders for leading the school in such difficult times.

To 6th Form Teaching and Pastoral Staff:

Thank you for all you have done throughout the school but particularly for the current year 13. It is a time of real uncertainly for them and particularly because of the lack of final clarity around the A level grading. The online lessons, pastoral support and engagement with the students is second to none and they'll go on to their next stages knowing that Yavneh could not have supported them better through the pandemic

Debbie Bezalel, Year 13

To all Staff:

Thank you to all the staff who are working with year 8 to help make this lockdown process as smooth as possible - education is carrying on and support is there ... well done Yavneh

Anonymous, Year 8

To all Staff:

I want to thank everyone at Yavneh from Mr Lewis through to the security team. Both my child and i have been fully informed instantly as to any changes to structure or learning and what is expected of my daughter who is continuing to learn whilst studying at home. This in itself is an impressive feat. At the same time there is compassion for circumstances and illness etc. I am impressed with the schools ability to adapt to the constant changes and amendments to our current living conditions. It’s almost the only certainty, especially for my daughter, in a very uncertain time.

Anonymous, Year 8
